We are currently looking to hire & train someone as a ‘Parts Catalog Writer’. This will be FT Position, with daytime hours. In this position the successful candidate will use client supplied information to create / update equipment parts catalogs which will include research, writing and the mark-up of books & illustrations for change.

The successful candidate should be self-motivated, detailed orientated & organized. They must have general mechanical knowledge, good communication skills and basic computer input skills.

We are looking for a mechanic to hire as a ‘Mechanic / Technical Writer’ to create & maintain client Service Manuals & Kit Installation Instructions. The successful candidate will become a product or systems subject matter expert with the product(s) they are working by tracking engineering changes and collaborating alongside product design teams. The knowledge gained will be used to create content in Service Manuals, Kit Installation Instructions and other documents used by our clients.

Job Description: Full-time with daytime hours in a clean work environment. Will entail a mix of mechanical functions and desk work.

Responsibilities:
• Research and track engineering changes with client products.
• Interact with design teams.
• Disassemble/assemble equipment.
• Determine and document safe operation and maintenance processes for client products.
• Update and write product support literature.

Job Requirements:
A successful candidate must possess
• Shop experience and experience working on equipment & machinery.
• Knowledge regarding hydraulic system components.
• The ability to safely disassemble & assemble machines in an orderly manner and document correct component repair procedures.
• Computer skills
• Organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Teamwork skills

Writing ability is a plus, however we will train upon hire.
